Leading global firm appoints Scott Grigg as country managing director to build Australian consulting business
MELBOURNE, Australia, March 17, 2026 – Global technology consulting firm Synechron today unveiled its newly unified Australian business, bringing Chamonix IT, Exposé and iGreenData together under the Synechron brand.
These acquisitions, first announced in 2024, are an integral part of Synechron’s efforts to expand its footprint and capabilities within the Australian technology consulting market.
Synechron is now one of Australia’s leading technology consulting businesses, with a team of more than 1,500 professionals servicing clients across Australia and New Zealand. With offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Canberra, the firm is poised for rapid expansion in 2026, planning to add more than 100 specialist roles in the first half of the year alone.
The New York-headquartered company is one of the fastest-growing technology services providers globally, employing more than 16,850 professionals across 21 countries. In the past 12 years, the combined Synechron team has delivered over 3,200 projects throughout Australia for government and enterprise clients, including some of the country’s leading financial institutions.
“Australia is one of the most dynamic and competitive consulting markets in the world. Clients expect both world-leading technology innovation and in-depth local experience,” said Faisal Husain, co-founder and CEO of Synechron. “Thanks to the addition of the Chamonix IT, Exposé, and iGreenData teams, we are now perfectly placed to help Australian organisations not just embrace the future, but to lead from the front.”
Synechron also unveiled its new Australian leadership team:
Synechron has deep strategic alliances with leading tech vendors, including Appian, AWS, Databricks, Microsoft, Salesforce and ServiceNow. In October 2025, it became one of the largest global ServiceNow practices in the banking and financial services sector via the acquisitions of RapDev, Calitii and Waivgen.
In Australia, the business will specialize in secure, end-to-end digital transformation and platform solutions for clients in the financial services, government, defence, utility, education and healthcare sectors.
“Globally, Synechron is synonymous with innovation, transformation and complex project delivery, with a rich heritage in highly regulated industries such as financial services,” said Scott Grigg. “Pairing our on-the-ground experience and expertise with Synechron’s proprietary technology and accelerators drove significant growth, even as we worked to bring the business to operate as one organization. As we move forward as one Synechron in the Australian market, we expect this growth to accelerate.”
