    The Challenge

    The customer, an entity responsible for student assessments, faced growing pressure on their admissions system as their old platform neared end of life. It was expensive to host, hard to secure and difficult to extend. The system lacked mobile support, forced applicants to create new accounts each year, and required repeated data entry across applications. These issues slowed the process and limited future improvements, prompting the need for a more modern, integrated admissions capability.

    The Solution

    We helped the customer shape a modernization roadmap, starting with a review of their systems, processes and team capabilities to identify gaps and training needs. A hybrid team was formed to design and build the new admissions application using modern development and delivery practices. We introduced agile and DevOps ways of working, created a new web app, added a modern sign‑in system and built a secure API layer while keeping the core processing engine in place for faster delivery.
