The Challenge

The client had an aging on-premise hardware estate, offering low levels of automation and self-service. They were looking to modernize their infrastructure whilst providing a more ‘cloud-like’ experience for teams currently unable to move to public cloud. In addition, the client was looking to move from a Capex to an Opex billing model and to provide autonomous DR capabilities.

The Solution

We used our Strategic Solution Development (SSD) framework to build a capability model, backed by a structured set of detailed requirements. These requirements were used to evaluate four different vendor solutions during an intense set of interactive workshops. Outcomes were scored and weighted by client stakeholders to ensure an objective and transparent decision.
