It has come to our attention that scammers are posing as Synechron recruiters and using our company name to deceive job seekers. These fraudsters may contact individuals via email, phone, or social media and claim to be recruiting for Synechron or a group company.
These scammers may ask for personal information, such as your bank account details, credit card information, Social Security number, other social identity proof details or passport details, and may even request payment for processing fees, training, or background checks. Please be aware that Synechron does not ask for any payment from job applicants at any stage of the recruitment process, nor do we ask for sensitive personal information like bank account details, tax forms or credit card information as part of the initial recruitment process through unsolicited emails or calls. Any information that Synechron may request will be requested through authorized communication channels or its applicant tracking systems. Please note that we have not authorized any agency, company or individual to collect money or request any monetary arrangement in order to receive a job at Synechron.
To protect yourself from this type of fraud, we recommend that you take the following measures:
Verify the identity of the recruiter: Ensure that the recruiter's email address or phone number matches the official contact. Synechron’s recruitment team corresponds from email addresses with the domain “@Synechron.com” and do not use public email ids such as Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail etc.
Watch out for red flags: Be cautious of unsolicited job offers, requests for payment of monies or personal information, and poor grammar or spelling in emails or job descriptions.
Do your research: Check the legitimacy of the job posting or recruiter by researching the company and their recruitment process on their official website and social media pages.
Contact Synechron: If you are unsure about the legitimacy of a job offer or recruiter, please reach out to us at Globalfirstname.lastname@example.org to confirm its authenticity.
Please know that legally, Synechron is not obliged to honor any job assurances made by third parties in exchange for money. Synechron takes recruitment fraud very seriously and is working with law enforcement agencies to investigate these fraudulent activities. We urge you to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to us immediately. If you believe you have been a victim of a recruitment fraud, you are requested to approach the law enforcement agencies immediately.
