    The challenge

    An Australian defense organization needed to bring corporate IT in-house while maintaining uninterrupted service in a highly regulated environment. Rapid workforce growth, strict data governance requirements and accreditation obligations added complexity. The organization required seamless migration from its managed service provider, governance-led ITSM workflows, automated identity and access management, accreditation-ready documentation, and a scalable platform capable of supporting future HR and security operations.

    The solution

    Synechron partnered with the client to design, build and support a secure, scalable ServiceNow platform. The team created governance-led ITSM workflows, migrated all tickets and service history without disruption, implemented automated identity and access management and enabled high-security controls aligned to accreditation requirements. The platform was later extended to support HR and security processes, while centralized knowledge management and detailed compliance documentation strengthened operational efficiency and audit readiness.
