    The Challenge

    Our customer, a not-for-profit care provider and support service, had recently faced a cyber incident that, while contained, exposed weaknesses in their security setup. They needed to quickly strengthen their defenses to protect sensitive client data, financial stability, and their reputation. With staff spread across multiple sites, varying digital skills, and temporary workers needing secure access, the environment was difficult to manage and keep safe.

    The Solution

    The team replaced the compromised on‑premise setup with a secure, cloud‑based Microsoft 365 environment, reducing complexity and speeding up alignment with Essential Eight Level 3. We migrated identity, data and email into the new platform, replaced outdated storage with SharePoint and Teams, and strengthened core security controls including MFA, application control, patching and admin restrictions. Our hybrid team also trained internal staff and delivered automated security processes and monitoring to ensure a strong, sustainable cyber posture.
