At Synechron, we see Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as vital elements in driving our business forward. That’s why we’re happy to embrace International Women's Day 2023 and its theme: #EmbraceEquity.

We have a number of activities planned to #EmbraceEquity across the month of March. Our aim is to spark conversation and raise awareness on why equal opportunities are no longer enough.

The words ‘equity’ and ‘equality’ are often used interchangeably but they are not the same.
 
Equality means each individual or group of people is given the same resources or opportunities. 

Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances, and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome.

We Have Your Back

We Have Your Back is designed to help women in technology returning to the workforce after a career break. A three-month paid training program. enables you to join our team as a full-time Business Analyst Consultant.

This program include:

  • Industry certification
  • Year-round mentorship
  • Upskilling opportunities

Women’s Engagement Forum

Now in its third year, this virtual event aims to connect all female employees at Synechron and celebrate their unique journeys. We hold events each quarter, aligned to a central theme. These include:

  • TED-talk style sessions 
  • Expert-led mental health and women’s health sessions
  • More laid-back, ‘safe space’ conversations over coffee and tea.

The Better ME! Mentorship Program

Better ME! is a voluntary mentoring experience with the goal of connecting senior MEntors with MEntee colleagues across the organization. The goal is to advise and educate Synechron’s future leaders.

  • Exploring exciting career development paths
  • Becoming exposed to new ideas and ways of thinking
  • Team collaboration plus 1:1 time with our senior leaders to develop new skills
