In my current role, I oversee the Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Pune, India, managing a 350 person team and overseeing project delivery for our largest Capital Markets client.

Pratik oversees all sourcing, management and execution of projects handled by Synechron’s ODC, ensuring all deliverables meet and exceed client expectations.
To grow with the company
When I was looking for my next opportunity, I had offers from several companies including a giant, global IT player. However, I wanted to join a company that was not too big, but also not too small. I found Synechron which was growing rapidly but still small enough to invest in the business and its employees. I realized that Synechron was the type of company where I could grow and advance my career while contributing to its clients’ success. When I look back a decade later, I feel I made the right decision.
Chemistry to Computers
My early education is in Chemistry; however, I completed my Diploma in Advanced Computing from Mumbai in 1999 at a time when a degree in computer science was considered highly-valuable in India.
Biking
I love riding my motorbike on rough and challenging terrains. In the past, I have ridden to Leh from Manali by bike which was a three-day journey. I have ridden on the second highest motorable road in the world i.e. Taglang La. I also have traveled across South-North-West-South Sikkim in six days.
