/ / What I do at Synechron

Delivery, development processes and engineering leadership

I work within Synechron’s Delivery and Program Management team, often handling multiple roles in an engagement. Recently, I’ve managed our West Coast client operations, where my team was involved in building mobile applications and other upcoming products. In this role, I was responsible for program management, client relationships and resource management. During this time, I also acted as the Delivery Manager for one of the very interesting products we are helping the client build – A virtual assistant platform deployed as a ChatBot. In this role, I am accountable for the overall delivery, development processes and engineering leadership. The technology span of our engagement covers AWS, Android, NLP, ML, Java/UI/UX Technologies and Data Analytics.

Opportunity to contribute and grow

/ / Why I joined Synechron

Ardent transformation culture fueling my passion for technology

I joined Synechron as a developer in 2006 because, coming from a large IT firm, I was looking for an organization which was just the right size, was primed to grow and would give me the opportunity to contribute and grow with it. It has turned out exactly as I expected. From the family feel of a 400-person organization when I started to the 8000+ strong multi-national company it is today with unlimited possibilities, it has been a great journey that I would take again in a heartbeat.

/ / MY SKILLs, qualifications and experience

Opportunity to contribute and grow

I started my career as a Bachelor of Engineering in Computers and obtained skills for Java/J2EE/Full Stack development. As I grew, I could add team leadership, solution architecture and project management to my repertoire. I then completed my Executive MBA from IIM Calcutta and have been focused on program management, client relationships and product development. I now strive to combine product perspective, management expertise & technical skills to achieve business goals.

/ / My personal interests

Singing, podcasts and road trips

Amongst the many things that interest me, the noteworthy ones are – singing (I can croon a song pretty decently and am the resident singer at family functions), reading (I am an avid reader and am proud of my personal library), sports (badminton, cricket, tennis and table tennis are my favorites), podcasts (I am a big fan of ‘This American Life’ and ‘HBR Ideacast’) and lastly – road trips (I have done a Pune to Coorg trip in India and many in the US).
