UX designing
As a Junior UX Designer at Synechron, I help translate detailed and often complex client requirements into solutions that aim to provide the best user experience possible. I enjoy conducting user interviews in order to get the best understanding of any requirements, before creating lo-fi wireframes and prototypes for testing. After various tweaks and iterations, I work with visual designers and development teams to create interfaces which both look and feel great.

Place to grow and develop new skills
I joined Synechron because I felt as though it was a place that I could grow and develop new skills, as well as improve upon my existing ones. Another big selling point for me was Synechron’s client list. I had seen that Synechron had worked with many of the world’s top banks and financial institutions, so I knew that there would be many interesting projects.
Degree in Chemistry and UX Design
I have a Chemistry degree from the University of Sheffield and am also a UX Design graduate from the General Assembly school in London. After joining Synechron, I completed the PRINCE2 foundation course which gave me a good introduction into the project management environment. I have 2 years of experience in an Operations role, which has definitely opened my eyes to the need for user-friendly systems and tools.
Boxing, Muay Thai and being the occasional DJ
Outside of work, I listen to a lot of music, in particular UK garage and grime. I have MC’d at various club nights around London and still play the occasional DJ set. In terms of sport, I take boxing and Muay Thai classes a few times a week and am looking forward to my first amateur competition in the near future.
