Senior Manager - Quality Control, Pune, India
/ / What I do at Synechron

Effectively implement QA best practices

I started with the company in 2002 as a 3D developer specializing in Viewpoint. At that time, this technology was widely used to create online, interactive 3D assets for presentations, most notably by companies like Hewlett Packard, Sony, Honda, AOL and Toyota. Now, I’m a part of the Quality Assurance group where I’m involved in various digital projects that combine high-end, rich UI/UX experiences with intuitive design for both mobile and desktop applications. I also play a major role in managing GUI testing in digital projects that implement QA best practices.

/ / Why I joined Synechron

A place full of growth opportunities

Synechron has been a place full of opportunities, challenges, achievements and growth. The company has also provided me with great international networking opportunities at events like Kids Screen in New York and the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. It’s truly been a dream come true to work here with such an amazing leadership team.

/ / MY SKILLs, qualifications and experience

Started career as a CAD/3D developer

Since I was a kid, I’d always loved arts like drawing, sketching and painting. This is what led me to take up a formal education in Advanced Computer Arts and animation. I started my career as a CAD/3D developer in a Pune based startup, which was my first on-site opportunity to work in the Middle East. With that experience, I was able to grow within the Information Technology industry.

/ / My personal interests

Aircraft modeling

I still love sketching, but recently I’ve picked up another hobby viz., aircraft modeling. I also enjoy playing table tennis to keep myself fit and am a member of Synechron’s internal table tennis team that competes in many inter-IT table tennis tournaments.
