Synechron strengthens UK team with the appointment of new Associate Director HR Monday, July 16, 2018 - London

Appointment of Samantha Screene brings over 20 years of HR experience to Synechron’s London team

Synechron, the global financial services consulting and technology services provider, has appointed Samantha Screene as Associate Director of HR at its London office.

Samantha joins from RBS, now Direct Line Group, where she was responsible for leading a HR Business Partner team to co-create a three-year people strategy which included a new performance framework, simplifying and reducing enterprise policies and improving employee engagement and experience. She will be reporting to John Gaunt, CHRO at Synechron.

Samantha brings over 20 years’ experience in human resources having previously worked across a wide range of industries, Companies including Tesco, Raytheon and IVAX. In 2008 she was appointed HR Business Partner for T-Mobile where she led the HR element of the business during its merger with Orange.

Samantha’s addition to the Synechron team will build on the Employee 2020 initiative announced earlier this year. The scheme promotes the five key values of the business to current staff and prospective candidates with a focus on ambition, innovation, empowerment, responsibility and a limitless drive for excellence. The Employee 2020 aims to attract fresh new talent to the business while recognizing the achievements of its current team through rewards, career progression and mentorship opportunities.

The announcement follows Synechron being named as one of the Best Places to Work in 2018 as well as the launch of its Social Awareness Campaign #ItTakesAllTypes which promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
