Sr. Java + MS Developer

Our Challenge

As a Java Microservices Developer, you will collaborate with global teams to work on both server-side and web application design and development while managing and supporting applications. You should be passionate about learning and utilizing emerging technologies and be able to take a leadership role in training and coaching analysts on your team.

Responsibilties

  • Responsible for server-side and web applications design & development
  • Develop common, reusable components and services
  • Work with the core team to manage and support applications
  • Able to take initiative to research, learn and recommend emerging technologies
  • Able to work with global teams and lead them on critical project initiatives
  • Utilize in-depth, specialized knowledge of application development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide an evaluation of the business process, system process, and industry standards, and make an evaluative judgment
  • Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
  • Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
  • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
     

Requirements

You are:

  • Equipped with professional experience in Java EE development processing XSD, XML, JSON
  • Experienced in building Distributed/Service-Oriented/Micro-services
  • Knowledgeable in containerization solutions
  • Knowledgeable in and have experience with the Spring framework
  • Understanding of OO design patterns to deliver efficient code
  • Knowledgeable in rule-based engines using DROOL or similar technologies
  • Understanding of distributed systems
