Our Challenge

As a Senior Java Developer, you will work independently to oversee and control all phases of the development process, as well as provide operational support to users. Through best practices and business engineering standards, you will also complete code reviews and map out system implementation risks and complexities. 

Responsibilties

  • Monitor and control all phases of the development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
  • Analyze and collaborate on technical solutions and strategies with the team and provide the optimum solution
  • Responsible for systems analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, and other SDLC activities
  • Code reviews, exposure to continuous integration, test case reviews and ensuring code developed meets the requirements
  • Explore existing application systems, determine areas of complexity, and potential risks to successful implementation
  • Communicate continually with all teams – clarify needs, present tech team ideas, and explain progress on development efforts
  • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to software architecture, software development process, and new technologies, etc.
  • Strictly follow business engineering standards and ensure these are followed across all modules
  • Perform code & design reviews consistently
  • Work with a limited level of direct supervision
     

Requirements

You are:

  • Equipped with Java development experience, specifically with JSE/JEE, Java-based Micro-services framework and implementation, Spring framework, Hibernate framework, SQL, etc.
  • Highly experienced with Spring Boot, SPARK Microservices, OSGi specifications
  • Knowledgeable in micro
