Duties: Develop enterprise-level software applications; perform requirement gathering and analysis; develop and analyze application design (preparing functional specification documents and technical design documents with best suitable architectural decisions for complex business requirements); review architecture and design artifacts and estimate efforts for each requirement (create logical & sequence diagrams, create use case diagrams, create architecture and deployment diagrams, etc.); define middleware service strategies, including overall portfolio scope, roadmap development and architecture definition for information technology solution integration; install WebSphere Application Server, Portal/WCM, IBM HTTP and PEGA PRPC on Linux and Unix-based environments; support production environment availability and bug fixing of production issues; test developed applications for bugs and issues; create and automate application builds and deployment; and manage application development life-cycle and generate customized reports.
Education and Experience: Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering (any branch). Alternatively, Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering (any branch) plus five (5) years of experience as Software Developer, Software Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Programmer of related position. Foreign educational equivalent is accepted.
Worksite: 11 Times Square, New York, NY - 10036. Exact worksite location not known at this time but will report to and will be paid out of headquarters office in New York.
