As a Senior Core Java Developer, you will utilize your data structures and algorithms knowledge as you apply the appropriate frameworks based on use cases presented to you. While you must have hands-on experience in Java 8 and Collections/Concurrency, you should also be passionate about learning and staying up-to-date with the evolving Java landscape. This will allow you to utilize the latest features and updates to support the business!

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  

In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is $100k - $125k/year & benefits (see below).


  • Work on writing clean, reusable, modular, and maintainable code that is easy to understand and easy to change 
  • In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms is required, so that you can apply them better in day-to-day tasks, and so you know which one to choose over the other (especially when using frameworks like the collections framework) 
  • Learn new features and changes as Java evolves


You are:

  • Experienced in Java 8 (a must!) 
  • Experienced with Collections & Concurrency (a must!) 
  • Experienced in the Spring framework 
  • Equipped with 6+ years of experience in Java and related open-source technologies 
  • Highly knowledgeable in Java and Advanced Java fundamentals 
  • Able to develop Web Services (SOAP and REST) 
  • Experienced in Multithreading (a must!)

It would be great if you also had:

  • Banking or Financial domain experience
