QA Automation Engineer

Overview

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will participate in the automation testing of complex web platforms for top financial services and technology firms globally.  You should have hands-on test automation experience, as you will be responsible for writing new automated tests as well as creating and maintaining the test automation infrastructure. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Work on writing test scenarios, integration of testing framework in CI/CD, and writing and maintaining automated UI and API tests  
  • Review and analyze requirement documentation, identify and document bugs, provide reports of automated tests  
  • Work on performing manual testing and test case creation when necessary   
  • Work with an experienced team of IT engineers while following best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews, design documentation) and methodologies   
  • Follow Scrum methodology software development practices 
  • Collaborate with our development team in Serbia, as well as an experienced international team 

Requirements

You are:

  • Versatile QA Engineer with expertise in one of the programming languages, preferably JavaScript or Java (Selenium/Cypress/Cucumber) 
  • 3+ years of experience with manual and automation testing 
  • Good understanding of SQL and API 
  • Knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming - principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns  
  • Experience working within Scrum/Agile team environment 
  • Fluency in English
