Project Manager (FRTB)

Our Challenge

As a Project Manager, you will be a part of a Transformation Team that closely collaborates across regions with Change Managers and Development Teams to work on Risk & Regulatory Change (FRTB) on a global scale. You will work on end-to-end projects across feasibility studies, project planning, requirement analysis, and UAT management. While not required, a relevant professional qualification, such as a FRM or CFA, is preferred.


  • Act as the overall project manager and delivery lead to deliver regulatory change projects across Asia 
  • Manage/undertake end-to-end project tasks from feasibility study, project planning, requirement analysis, UAT management to implementation support 
  • Develop project documents such as user requirement specifications and UAT plan 
  • Develop in-scope procedure manuals and forms 
  • Ensure coordination of all e2e activities with respect to the SA delivery, including maintaining a delivery plan, RAID management, running the Work Stream Delivery Committee and being hands-on with all work streams delivering SA items (e.g., Reg Reporting, Target Operating Model, Traceability and Multi-Jurisdiction Rule Implementation) 
  • Provide guidance to and steer Business Heads, as this is our most senior Program role in the Asia Region. You will also be responsible for managing stakeholders and ensuring participation from all F2B departments ahead of the FRTB Standardized Approach obligations starting 


You are:

  • Educated to University Degree Level (or equivalent); a relevant professional qualification (FRM, CFA) is desirable 
  • Experienced in general or wholesale banking, including Commercial Banking, Global Banking & Markets or Wholesale Credit 
  • Highly understanding of the regulatory landscape, particularly relating to the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book or previous experience in a Regulatory Capital Policy function. Knowledge of regulatory landscape in Asia (HKMA, CBIRC, MAS, OJK, etc.) is advantageous 
  • Equipped with relevant work experience in a bank, rating agency, consultancy or advisory firm 
  • Experienced in managing direct reports/teams 

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience of Front to Back Process 
  • Some understanding of statistics and concepts of the risk modelling process
