Our Challenge

Working with cross-functional teams on full project lifecycles, this is a fast-paced job that requires an agile designer who can learn quickly. You’ll be exposed to working with key stakeholders of various seniority and you’ll be expected to challenge things as well as think creatively. You should also stay up-to-date on the latest and emerging digital trends. 

Responsibilties

  • To be active in the project lifecycle – from brief and pitch to usability and build 
  • Working collaboratively with account managers, creatives, or developers to deliver the digital output of the highest quality and to the business requirement 
  • Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture, attending events, and engaging with the wider digital creative community 
  • Articulating and presenting creative ideas/treatments to teams 
  • Maintaining high standards and ensuring only the best work is released 
  • Working closely with senior staff to improve your skills in all areas of digital creative and technology 
  • Delivering best-in-class design deliverables via UX methodologies including research, user flows, and ideally a data-driven approach
  • Delivering good quality visual outputs by means of high-fidelity designs, rapid prototyping, and high-fidelity UI ready for development
     

Requirements

You are:

  • A strong written and verbal communicator  
  • Equipped with in-depth digital design capabilities  
  • Bringing significant industry experience to the team  
  • Able to learn and improve your skills in a fast-paced environment   
  • Able to keep a cool head and meet deadlines   
  • A strong problem-solver  
  • Able to think creatively and deliver clever concepts   
  • Able to put yourself in the shoes of the user   
  • Highly attentive to detail   
  • Equipped with significant technical experience in UI/UX best practices   
  • Able to spot problems in all areas of UX design before they arise   
  • Equipped with 4+ years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry  
  • Digital innovation-focused, with the ability to challenge the norm in the banking world, and to back it up with research findings  
  • Highly experienced in retail banking, specifically digital and innovation 
  • Pro-active and incredibly creative 
  • Knowledgeable of and experienced with design systems
