Our Challenge

As a Product Designer Designer working in all areas of digital design, we believe you need to be passionate about new technology and excel in a multitude of different disciplines with excellent working knowledge of others.

An experienced designer devises interaction strategies in sync with user goals and clients’ business goals, develops navigation and structure, designs wireframes or interactive prototypes, organizes content, and tirelessly advocates for the needs and goals of real users. You will make strategic and tactical UX decisions related to design and usability as well as features and functions. 

You will also perform usability assessments and tests of interactive systems. The best candidate will possess outstanding creativity, a highly detailed nature, and the ability to help define and solve complex user interface problems. 
 

Responsibilties

  • Be active in the project lifecycle – from brief and pitch to usability and build
  • Work collaboratively with account managers, creatives, or developers to deliver the digital output of the highest quality and to the business requirement
  • Stay on track with emerging digital trends and culture, attend events and engage with the wider digital creative community
  • Articulate and present creative ideas/treatments to teams and clients
  • Maintain high standards and ensure only the best work is released to the client
  • Work closely with senior staff to improve your skills in all areas of digital creative and technology
     

Requirements

You are:

  • Able to keep a cool head and meet deadlines
  • A strong problem-solver 
  • Able to think creatively and deliver clever concepts
  • Able to put yourself in the shoes of the user
  • Highly attentive to detail
  • Equipped with significant technical experience in UI/UX best practices
  • Able to spot problems in all areas of UX design before they arise
  • Equipped with 4+ years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry 
  • Digital innovation-focused, with the ability to challenge the norm in the banking world and back it up with research findings
  • Highly experienced in retail banking, specifically digital and innovation
  • Pro-active and incredibly creative
