JavaScript Developer (React)

Our Challenge

As a JavaScript (React) Developer, you will work as part of a global technology team that is responsible for building and delivering solutions for mastering and distributing client and account reference data. Through close collaboration with the User Experience Teams, you will help to build applications using modern web technologies. You should be able to translate business use cases presented to you into technical delivery concepts. 


You will work on the development team to implement elegant, sophisticated and ambitious applications using modern web technologies. You will also help translate business use cases into the technical delivery of a supporting user interface and API while interacting with senior stakeholders through Agile development of the concepts. 

You will also work closely with the User Experience design teams to create excellent application experiences for users and generally be a key team player, working across the organisation with skills to indirectly manage and influence. 


You are:

  • Highly knowledgeable in and understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Typescript, CSS, HTML 5, LESS/SAS 
  • An expert in modern web development technologies such as React.js, React Hooks, Redux, Node.js, Express.js, Webpack, Jest and Cypress 
  • A graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (or have equivalent experience) 
  • Experienced in the Agile delivery model

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience with Azure 
  • An understanding of Activiti, Drools, ELK, Hazelcast/Redis and MongoDB
