Overview

As a Java Microservices Developer, you will work on providing and evaluating a variety of technical solutions for different processes and perform POCs for technical products and applications. An array of technical skills are required for this role, including Java 8, SpringBoot, Java APIs, and SQL technologies. While not required, it will be helpful to have previous experience in UI Automation frameworks and design patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the Trade Surveillance suite ensuring timely delivery of work items in the sprint 
  • Evaluate and provide technical solutions to solve a variety of complex and interdependent processes 
  • Evaluate and perform POCs on new strategic technical products and applications 
  • As part of the core team, ensure sub-teams adhere to our code quality and testing standards 

Requirements

You are:

  • Experienced in: Java 8, Spring, SpringBoot, Microservices 
  • Well-versed in: Java APIs like JMS, Spring Cloud features like Feign Client, Service discovery, Hystrix, etc. 
  • Experienced in SQL/NoSQL technologies (Oracle, Mongo DB, etc.) 

It would be great if you also had:

  • Elastic Search experience  
  • Experience in messaging technologies like RabbitMQ, Tibco Queue, Apache Kafka etc. 
  • Experience using HTTP Auth mechanisms, load balancer like NGINX 
  • Previous experience with UI automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium) 
  • A background in Design Patterns, SOLID Principles
