Java Full Stack Developer

Overview

In this role as a Java Full Stack Developer, you will have an opportunity to work in the financial sector while designing and testing applications that support business requirements. Your mission would consist of applying your Agile and Unit Testing skills to be part of an information system transformation. You would work on development, support and maintenance activities. 

Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements and any other relevant input 
  • Perform analysis of existing solutions and additional/new end user requirements 
  • Design applications and micro services addressing these requirements 
  • Implement automated test cases (unit tests, acceptance tests) 
  • Test (unit test, integration test, system test, performance test) applications and micro services 
  • Provide documentation, reporting, and change management related to applications and micro services 
  • Support and operate required development tools as well as the developed applications themselves 

Requirements

You are:

  • A professional with a university degree or equivalent in a computer-based discipline 
  • Equipped with at least 5 years of experience with Java technologies 
  • Experienced with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate 
  • Knowledgeable in Unit Testing and Acceptance Testing tools such as JUnit, Cucumber 
  • Experienced with Angular 2 or comparable web framework 
  • Experienced with the use of version control systems (Subversion, Bitbucket, Git, Mercurial) 
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies 
  • A team player with good communication skills and a self-starter who needs minimum support 
  • Excellent written and spoken English 

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience in the banking sector 
  • Knowledge of French, Luxembourgish and/or German would be a plus
