Overview

As a Java Developer, you will work on a fast-moving global team where the ability to smoothly shift priorities and communicate effectively is key; you’ll be collaborating with business leaders and other stakeholders while contributing to high- and low-level systems design. You must have hands-on experience using MongoDB, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and an understanding of Microservices best practices.

Requirements

You are:

  • Equipped with 8+ years of relevant experience in app development or systems analysis  
  • Well-versed in system analysis and design 
  • Able to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate 
  • Able to consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication; you should be able to effectively communicate with business leaders and other stakeholders 
  • Knowledgeable in JAVA/J2EE Spring Boot, Spring Framework stack (a must!) 
  • An expert in Microservice and Microservices best practices, patterns - Spring Boot Microservices is highly preferred 
  • Highly experienced in MongoDB 
  • Experienced in SCMs like GIT and tools like JIRA (a must!) 
  • Understanding of OpenShift & Docker 
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodology (a must!) 
  • Experienced in systems analysis, design and architecture fundamentals, Unit Testing and other SDLC activities 
  • Able to contribute in high- and low-level systems design (Sequence diagram, class diagrams) 

It would be great if you also had:

  • An understanding of Kafka
