Overview

As a Java Developer, you will collaborate with various teams to work on greenfield, digital transformation and enterprise-level projects to build web applications and software solutions. You will work on designing, engineering, and collaborating with different stakeholders (business, architects, developers) in the financial services area.  
 

Responsibilities

  • Build complex Web platforms and provide adequate software solutions for top financial services and technology firms globally 
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle: design, documentation, bug fixing, code reviewing, deployment  
  • Work with an experienced team of IT engineers while following best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews, design documentation) and methodologies   
  • Follow Scrum methodology software development practices 
  • Collaborate with our development team in Serbia, as well as an experienced international team 

  
 

Requirements

You are:

  • A versatile professional with 3+ years of experience in the development of Java Web-based software solutions  
  • Highly experienced in Java with a strong background in frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate and Java libraries  
  • Knowledgeable in relational or non-relational databases 
  • Knowledgeable in Object-Oriented Programming - principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns  
  • Knowledge in or interest in learning Cloud, DevOps or Microservices 
  • Experience working within Scrum/Agile team environment 
  • Fluent in English
