Our Challenge

As a Java Developer, your passion for research and exploration will help you as you work on agile development projects across the business. You should be able to drill into data to determine the root cause, write SQL queries, and independently handle multiple projects at any given time.  

Requirements

You are:

  • Equipped with 7+ years of experience in Java (Core & EE, Spring, JMS, JUnit), with a focus on object-oriented design, multi-threaded applications, and distributed systems  
  • Experienced in and have in-depth knowledge of SQL and RDBMS; you should be able to write SQL queries, stored procedure, index and triggers 
  • Experienced in Agile development and scrums  
  • Highly knowledgeable in Core Java (version 8 preferred), Spring (Core, MVC, JDBC), Hibernate/JDBC/JPA/ORM, JSON, Oracle 
  • Able to use your analytical skills to drill into data to come up with root cause 
  • Experienced with messaging systems and enterprise service bus  
  • Highly knowledgeable in build (Ant/Maven), continuous integration (Jenkins), code quality analysis (SonarQube) and unit and integration testing (JUnit)  
  • Experienced with SCM toll tools like GIT, SVN, etc.  
  • Able to work on UNIX shell script and VI editor  
  • Highly analytical with strong debugging and problem-solving skills 
  • Organized; able to manage a diverse project portfolio and deliver on multiple projects in the stream  
  • Passionate about research, ideation, and exploration  
  • An excellent communicator and presenter  
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
