Core Java Developer

Our Challenge

As a Core Java Developer, you will be expected to use your Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and open-source technology expertise to support use cases across the business. While not required, a background in the financial services industry and experience with Apache Camel and Drools will help you succeed in this role.  

Additional Information – New York 

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  

In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is $100k-$130k & benefits (see below). 

Requirements

You are:

  • A professional with 8+ years of experience (a must!) 
  • Experienced in Java and related open-source technologies 
  • An expert with Java and advanced Java fundamentals  
  • Highly experienced with Java 8 (you should be able to write code using Java 8 features like streams and respective functions) 
  • Highly experienced in developing and implementing REST APIs for microservices architecture 
  • Experienced in using Spring frameworks (Spring Boot) 
  • Equipped with good experience developing web services (SOAP and REST) 

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience in Multi-threading 
  • Experience in Kafka  
  • Experience with ODM Rule Engine, DevOps 
  • Experience in the financial services industry 
  • Experience with Apache Camel & Drools
