Business Analyst - Security (PAM)

Our Challenge

As a Business Analyst on our team, you will work on implementing Privileged Access Management controls using BeyondTrust. You should have a security/financial services background and be able to communicate and understand design concepts.


  • Gather requirements needed to deliver an automated solution for the approval, creation, and updating of groups in Windows service accounts, in accordance with windows service account standard and naming convention 
  • Act as a lead BA to facilitate Prod/NonProd account separation to allow BeyondTrust ServiceNow Windows Ticketing implementation to go ahead 
  • Integrate BeyondTrust environments for infrastructure simplification 
  • Close audit actions related to Privileged Access control gaps 
  • Regular status reporting to key stakeholders, escalating issues/risks quickly 
  • Support application onboarding activities, including working with chosen services partner and a mixture of internal and external resources  
  • Work with the Program/Portfolio/Senior Project Managers to ensure adherence to the organization’s standards for governance and risk management 
  • Prepare, collate, and distribute project status reports, ad-hoc presentations, and reporting (including senior management reporting) 
  • Establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating understanding of their perspective, proactivity, and their delivery focus 
  • Maintain constructive & supportive working relationships with stakeholders across the organization 


You are:

  • Equipped with over 8 years of experience and a proven record as a Business Analyst in Risk and/or Cyber Security  
  • Knowledgeable in Privileged Access Management in an enterprise environment and experienced with PAM tools, e.g. BeyondTrust or CyberArk 
  • Coming from a background in financial services, banking, regulated sectors, and/or large enterprises, with knowledge of financial regulations and banking standards 
  • Knowledgeable in Active Directory groups/account management & *NIX authentication; sufficient to understand and communicate design concepts  
  • An excellent verbal and written communicator, as the role involves close partnership with Business and Technology stakeholders 
  • Equipped with excellent stakeholder management skills 
  • Able to work effectively across all organizational levels 
  • Effective at multi-tasking and time management
