Our Challenge

In this role as an Automation Engineer, you will be working within an innovative automation team where proficiency in Selenium WD, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD, SQL, and WebServices is needed. You should also fully understand at least two programming/scripting languages and be able to differentiate between the two and choose the appropriate language for any given use case.  


  • Automate test cases using Cucumber BDD (Behavior-driven Development), DDT (Data-Driven Test) Framework, and Selenium 
  • Design automation test cases using Java, Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, Gherkin and Maven 
  • Perform Data-Driven Testing in the Framework using Scenario Outline 
  • Create HTML reports, Cucumber JSON reports, and screenshots 
  • Automate Excel Files/Sheets using Apache POI 
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum Meetings (Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retro) 
  • Write test scenarios and test cases based on documented user stories and acceptance criteria 
  • Take a key role in the development of Cucumber BDD, DDT Framework using the Page Object Model approach 
  • Perform Web Services Testing using Postman and REST Assured Library, along with Hamcrest-Matchers Assertions 
  • Perform all aspects of test verification, including environment management, functional, and regression testing functional/regression testing 


You are:

  • Equipped with hands-on experience writing multi-join SQL queries, stored procedure, user-defined functions, and views 
  • Equipped with hands-on experience in GUI automation using tools like Selenium, Web-driver, or Protractor 
  • Bringing hands-on experience in REST API automation using tools like Ruby or Jmeter to the team 
  • Able to support the team in crafting reliable, accurate and credible tests, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines 
  • Knowledgeable in testing levels, methods and types such as, but not limited to integration, system, acceptance, smoke, functional, and regression 
  • Eager to collaborate with team members on improving the team's test coverage and production health 
  • Able to think about many different aspects of product quality, such as functionality, usability, performance, and security 
  • Experienced in writing/executing test scripts 
  • Experienced in ALM and Jira 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
