- Client was 18 months into a major infrastructure change program which involved data center consolidation and re-platforming onto an internal private cloud (with future plans for public cloud usage)
- Synechron was asked to audit the program and assess risk against the $500m run rate save target
/ / How Synechron Helped
- We performed an intensive 6 week study focusing on: verification of their target state; their ability to build out the target capabilities; the feasibility of adoption of new platforms and exit of old facilities and platforms; and a correlation of top-down vs bottom-up financial planning
- During the audit, Synechron helped co-ordinate a strategic decision, proof of concept and negotiation for purchase of a 3rd party cloud management platform

- Many recommendations were made and adopted to get the program back on track including overcoming some significant investment hurdles.
- Synechron was retained to run the overall program office and to run the technical stream for build-out of the cloud management platform which is now back on track
